About Us

The aim of the blog is to see things in light of divine guidance and their metaphysical significance. We intend to 'redefine' the lost and forgotten concepts. In short we want people to see themselves as spiritual beings on a human journey, rather than human beings on a spiritual journey.

Some objectives of the Blog are :

1- Discussing the relationship between Religion, Spirituality, Psychology, Neurology and other inter-related subjects (like environment, culture, history etc.).

2- Providing arguments for proofs of extra-dimensional entities (like Soul) while carrying out in-depth analysis of Phenomenon that involve a considerable amount of extra-dimensional influence (like Dreams)

3- Dispelling the myths regard...ing core involvement of extra-dimensional factors in certain phenomenon where in essence physical factors carry more importance.

4- Busting the attempts by various religions (like extreme Islamic Sufis (mystics), Christian missionaries etc.) to forge spiritual events.

5- Providing Solutions to Psychological Disorders and Spiritual Issues (like Scrupulosity, OCD etc.) in light of scriptural guidance and psychological research

6- Exploring the Psychological and Socio-Cultural History of Extremism in Religion

7- Contrasting the definitions/understandings of invisible/meta-physical/extra-dimensional entities (like the spirit, devil etc.) in the revealed literature (Qur'an, Bible etc.) with the unrevealed literature (philosophy, psychology, neurology etc.) as well as with the peceptions of these entities in the relgious societies (Muslims, Hindus etc.)

People with interest in metaphysics (the knowledge of ruh etc) and the modern day psychology please contact me at Muhammad.Awais.Tahir@gmail.com. Also, if you want any of your piece of writing to be a part of the blog, kindly mail it to me at the given id.

As salamu Alaykum!
I love this blog Masha'Allah you guys are really doing a good job.
Im a student of Psychology and I am intending to study it in Uni Insha'Allah. I find your blog so useful...some of my friends think that Psychology is a waste of time and I shouldn't be studying it, I use to find it difficult to explain to them how positive Psych is actually coool, and that it6 helps you understand religion more. When I came across this blog a while ago it helped me gain more confidence to tell them all these Great discussions that you guys have :)!
You guys actually inspired me to read more around the subject and Islam Jazakhallah Khair!
May Allah T'ala reward you guys and increase your passion for this subject Ameen!

Assalamu alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatu

May Allah reward you for your effort. I think pyschology is an interesting area of study and when muslims embark upon this area they bring to light alot of things that are religion highly recommends, there are soo many benefits related matters related to our deen and pyschologist have only realised through research and observation of the things our prophet sallallahu alayhi wa salam taught us 1400 years ago! alhamdulillah it gives us certainity that our deen is the truth.

I'm actually thinking of studying psychology however i can't decide between pyschology or social science (socialogy) i think both are related to some extent, I find that social science covers more and Allah knows best.

Any advise?

Wa 'alaikum as Salam wr wb!

Yeah social sciences and psychology are related some what. Both are a part of behavioral sciences. You have to decide where you can perform the best. You have to decide your field of interest. Either you are good at the managerial aspect of the society (social science) or you are more interested in the roots and reasons (psychology). You have to decide whether you are more interested in things at a society level or a personal level.

Psychology is only a waste of time, when you ignore the 'invisible realities' and study only what is taught in books. If you actually explore the marvels of ruh, and the wickedness of shaitaan and see these metaphysical realities along with the physical ones, then you'll be able to understand the behaviors in a much nice manner, and you can help thousands of muslims and non muslims around the globe who are suffering from psychological disorders. So, this can not only be a knowledge but also a service to mankind.

JazakAllah for your encouragement. May Allah help you in making the right decision.
